Don’t be Scared of Rejection

When it comes to approaching women – it’s really just a numbers game. Back in the day when I was single I would approach several women in one night, and maybe I would have to go up to 10-20 girls before one finally looked interested, and wanted to actually converse with me.

Smile and Make Eye Contact

When you are trying to break the ice, you have to let her know that you are a confident and fun guy. By making eye contact you are showing confidence, by smiling you are showing her that you have personality and are fun to be around. This alone can work wonders if you have a million dollar smile, if you don’t, then all hope is not lost.

Scrap the Pick up Lines

They rarely work. I used to use them just to get a reaction, more as a way to have fun than anything. If you are lost for words, just use something that will force them to respond. It really doesn’t matter what you say to women when you are approaching them, but more of how you say it. Just go up to them and introduce yourself to them and ask them how they are doing. If a girl is interested in you, you are going to know it within the first minute of talking with them.

Careful with Liquid Courage

Some guys find it much easier to approach women after they have consumed a couple of alcoholic beverages. This is okay, as long as you keep the number to just ‘a few’. Trust me, women don’t want some drunk slobbering guy to approach them, especially if they are stumbling all over the place spilling their drinks all over them. Keep it clean guys.

Don’t Give Up

As I said before, expect to get rejected, hell, expect it often. You never know if you are going to hit a homerun unless you actually step up to the plate and swing. The swing is the important part. Just think about it, the more times you approach women, the better you are going to get at it. Sometimes you are going to approach women and maybe piss of their boyfriend who is standing right behind you, sometimes you are going to get shot down right away, but there are also going to be those times where you hit the home run. So when it comes to approaching women, keep your head up high and don’t give up.
